Our GPs provide general health checks, health assessments (e.g. CVD risk, diabetes risk) screening referrals (e.g. cancer, osteoporosis) to assist in early detection and prevention of diseases. Our GPs also provide advice on smoking, alcohol, weight, immunisations etc.
Our GPs provide regular, ongoing care for all chronic medical conditions to help optimise the management of your condition (e.g. asthma, diabetes, heart diseases, arthritis, emphysema, cancer etc. Our GPs can facilitate care with your treating specialists and/or allied health practitioners.
Our GPs provide advice and access to a vast array of immunisations including childhood immunisations, influenza, covid vaccines, pneumonia, whooping cough, occupational etc. Private stock is available on-site for Pertussis/Whooping cough (Adacel) and Flu vaccine. Our GPs recommend Whooping cough vaccination for all parents & carers of newborn babies. Please book a GP appointment for any additional vaccinations that is recommended by the Australian Immunisation guidelines, but not funded by the National/NSW immunisation programs.
Iron infusions are provided by Dr Jingbin Zhang at Canterbury Plaza Medical Centre. An iron infusion may be recommended by your doctor if oral supplements are not tolerated (e.g. gastrointestinal upset or constipation) or sufficient. Please book an initial appointment with Dr Jingbin Zhang to discuss whether an iron infusion is suitable for you.
Our GPs provide advice on travel health, vaccinations and medications.
Our GPs provide health checks and vaccinations for newborns and children ("Blue Book" Schedule: 1-4 weeks, 6 weeks, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years), and all other infant/toddler/child issues regarding health, growth, development, feeding etc. Our GPs can also discuss with you additional vaccinations available to help protect your child, that may be beneficial but not funded by the Government as part of the National Immunisation Program. Adolescent Health Our GPs provide consultations dealing with common adolescent health concerns, including puberty, menstruation, sexual health, mental health etc.
Our GPs provide consultations on all aspects of women's health, including family planning, sexual health, cervical screening test (CST), breast checks etc.
Our GPs provide consultations on all aspects of men's health, including family planning, sexual health etc.
Our GPs provide advice on contraception (e.g. implanon insertions and removals, OCPs etc), pregnancy planning, early pregnancy testing and referrals, fertility issues etc. Consultations for medical terminations of pregnancy are provided by Dr Jingbin Zhang.
Our GPs cater for all aspects of care for seniors, including over 75 health assessments with our practice nurse, immunisations, chronic disease management etc.
Our GPs provide medical consultations for mental health disorders, e.g. depression, anxiety and facilitate referrals to psychiatric or psychological services where required. We have a psychologist, Melissa Gilkes available for bookings. Medicare rebates may be available if you qualify for a GP Mental Health Care Plan referral (please see a GP to check if you are eligible).
Dr Ivy Su and Dr Jingbin Zhang provide general skin checks. They also facilitate referrals to skin clinics and dermatologists for complicated skin issues.
Our GPs provide minor biopsies, drainage of small abscesses, removal of foreign bodies and the suturing and dressing of minor wounds and lacerations.
Our GPs provide freezing of warts, sunspots and skin tags.
